Superior, portable sawing technology goes anywhere with the PH101 portable band saw (see Hyd-Mech Cold Saws page for the P255 portable cold saw). The PH101 is 115 volts and may be placed on a bench top and plugged into the wall. Ideal for home use or easily transported to the job site. For convenience, the PH101 uses a standard " porta-band" blade, which is available at any local hardware store for replacement.The PH211 and PH261 are economical, standard duty single miter band saws that have a smaller footprint than larger models, but are designed to stay put in a maintenance shop. Both band saws offer a larger cutting capacity. The PH211 is a manual machine with a ¾" blade, while the PH261 is a semi-automatic machine with a 1" blade.----------------PH 101 Portable Band SawPerfect for the hobbyists and fitters, the PH101 is suited for dry cutting from 0° up to 45° left.The machine is manufactured completely in aluminum die casting. With a push of a button on the solenoid controlled handle, the blade starts, the coolant pours on the blade, and the saw frame comes down at a pre-set rate of the operator's choice. When the machine completes the cut, the PH261 shuts off. Each subsequent cut will be made exactly as the first cut, with the same settings and rates. The vise clamping and saw frame are manually controlled.
